University of Alkafeel participated in a specialized workshop on program accreditation standards for colleges of pharmacy, which was organized by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Adi Abdul-Ridha Hussein Al-Rikabi, Dean of the College, and in the presence of a prominent group of professors and instructors from various Iraqi universities. The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof.Dr. Hassanein Shaker Mahmoud, vice-dean for scientific affairs at the College of Pharmacy, University of Alkafeel and Vice President of the National Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Colleges Programs in Iraq, where he discussed the most important practical steps for implementing programmatic accreditation standards, mechanisms for collecting the necessary evidence and documentation, o prepare a self-evaluation report according to the approved academic standards.

   The workshop also included a detailed explanation of the basic indicators of academic quality and the procedures that are to be observed for ensuring the achievement of accreditation standards, which enhances the status of academic programs for colleges of pharmacy in Iraq.

    The participation of University of Alkafeel comes within the framework of its keenness to develop its academic programs according to the latest quality and accreditation standards, and in line with the international and local trends in achieving academic excellence and ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical education .
