As the guidance hours take space in the college study schedule , the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized a series of educational and awareness lectures on Monday, 12/23/2024, targeting freshmen students in the colleges.

    Asst.Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation , delivered a lecture : " Importance of the Educational Aspect in Universities and the Concept and Sanctity of the University Campus". The lecture focused on the importance of adhering to university values and promoting a culture of respect and responsibility in the university campus, stressing the pivotal role of the educational aspect in building the personality of the university student. The lecture was presented to students of the colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy separately.

    At the same time, the advisor of the College of Technical Engineering conducted a lecture : "Social Phobia" to freshmen students in the College of Engineering. The lecture addressed the concept of social phobia, its causes and its impact on the academic performance and daily life of the students , while providing strategies to cope with it and promote self-confidence.

    These activities fall within the remit of the plan of the university to enhance educational and psychological guidance for students, and create a positive university environment that supports their academic and personal development.
