On Tuesday, 12/24/2024, the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a scientific lecture in the weekly meeting of the Curriculum Committee, presented by Prof. Dr. Hilal Bahjat Al-Saffar, in the presence of committee members and a number of academic staff in the college.
The lecture discussed basic axes to develop the educational process and promote its efficiency most notably:
• Completing the updating of curricula for all stages, and working to approve them and submit them to the Deanship of the College for official accreditation.
• Reviewing testing policies to ensure the development of evaluation mechanisms in alignment with modern academic standards.
• Discussing the English language test for freshmen students to reinforce their linguistic abilities and keepabreast of the requirements of modern medical education.
In the lecture, Dr. Hilal Al-Saffar stressed the importance of these steps in achieving the quality of medical education and elevating the level of graduates to face professional and scientific challenges with high efficiency. Such efforts fall within the remit of the college of medicine strategy at the university of Alkafeel to ensure achieving the highest standards of academic quality and excellence in its educational attainments .
