On Tuesday, 17 December 2024, the College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized a welcome meeting for freshmen students, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof.Dr. Samer Makki Al-Hakak, and his vice-dean for scientific and administrative affairs.
The dean began the meeting with a welcoming speech to the new students to show a set of necessary directions and instructions to ensure their academic career in accordance with the instructions of the esteemed university. Then the importance of adhering to university laws and regulations, official attendance and wear the uniform were all discussed , as they are part of the disciplined academic environment that the university seeks to establish.
At the end of the meeting, the floor was opened for discussion with the students to listen to their suggestions and inquiries, as the Dean laid emphasis on the importance of following up all the problems the students might face and working to find appropriate solutions to them, which contributes to creating a distinguished educational environment.
This meeting shows the framework of the Deanship of the College of Medicine at the university of Alkafeel and its acumen to enhance direct communication with new students and prepare them to achieve academic success and adapt quickly to university life.
