University of Alkafeel Organizing Third Training Course for "Digital Bologna Process "

  University of Alkafeel held the third training course (fifth group) on implementing the "Digital Bologna Process " system, on Sunday 8/12/2024. The course was attended by the chancellor  of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the vice-chancellor for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the deans of the colleges and their assistants.

    The course was organized under the supervision of the Alkafeel Center for Information Technology, in cooperation with the Information Technology Department at the university, and was attended by an elite group of academics from various private and governmental universities in Iraq. The course included intensive training sessions and detailed theoretical lectures:

Interactive practical applications focused on the "BIS" system known as the "Digital Bologna Process".

Course objectives: Raising the efficiency of university management: by using an integrated digital system to improve academic and administrative performance.

Enhancing technical skills: Training academic cadres on the latest digital tools and technologies and being in alignment with labor market requirements: by developing curricula and educational systems to meet market needs.

    This course is an essential step in improving the quality of higher education in Iraq, as it seeks to achieve integration between global academic standards and local labor market requirements. It also reflects the commitment of the Universityto developing the educational and administrative process, and its acumen to provide the best services to students and society.
This initiative falls within the remit of the vision the university holds to support the digital transformation in education,  promote an advanced educational environment that enables building a promising future for higher education, and contribute to meeting academic and societal needs.
