As part of its interest in developing the personality of university students in an integrated manner, the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation at University of Alkafeel organized two guidance lectures directed at first-year students in both the College of Technical Engineering and the College of Pharmacy, on Monday 12/9/2024, under the supervision of Asst.Prof.Dr. Hussam Ali Hassan Al-Obaidi, Director of the Department of Psychological Guidance and Educational Orientation .

The first meeting was held at the College of Technical Engineering, as the students were introduced to the guidance and educational activities provided by the university. Dr. Al-Obaidi opened the meeting by congratulating the students on the occasion of the new academic year, stressing the importance of this stage as the beginning of their academic and professional path, and emphasizing the role of educational programs in building personality on academic, professional and ethical foundations derived from the vision of the Holy Al-AbbasShrine.

   In the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Al-Obaidi gave a lecture : “The Importance of the Educational Aspect in Building the University Personality”, AS he discussed the difference between university behavior and high school behavior, calling on students to adopt practices that reflect maturity and responsibility and to highlight the importance of education in shaping a balanced university personality capable of facing lifechallenges.

   These lectures aim to enhance the awareness of the studentsand the role of psychological and educational orientation in supporting them academically and socially, and encouraging them to adopt positive values that contribute to building their future effectively.
