University of Alkafeel Organizing Third Training Course for "Digital Bologna Process" System

University of Alkafeel held the third training course (fifth group) on implementing the "Digital Bologna Process" system, on Sunday 8/12/2024. The course was attended by the chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the vice-chancellor for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali,  the college deans of colleges and their assistants.

 

    The course was organized under the supervision of the Al-Kafeel Center for Information Technology, in cooperation with the Information Technology Department, and was attended by a group of academics from various private and governmental universities in Iraq. The course included intensive training sessions and detailed theoretical lectures: 

Interactive practical applications focused on the "BIS" system known as the "Digital Bologna Process".

The course objectives are to raising the efficiency of university management: by using an integrated digital system to improve academic and administrative performance , to enhance the technical skills: by training academic cadres on the latest digital tools and technologies and to run in line with labor market requirements: by developing curricula and educational systems to meet market needs.

     This course is an essential step in improving the quality of higher education in Iraq, as it seeks to achieve integration between global academic standards and local labor market requirements. It also reflects the commitment of the Alkafeel University to developing the educational and administrative process, and its acumen to provide the best services to students and society.

     Such an initiative falls within the visions of the universitythat aims at supporting digital transformation in education, and reinforcing an educational advanced environment that enables building a promising future for higher education, and contributes to meeting academic and societal needs.
