The vice-dean for scientific affairs, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Shaheed, held a meeting with the revision committee responsible for monitoring and preparing institutional accreditation standards at the College of Dentistry on Tuesday, 24th September 2024. There was a discussion on committee tasks in implementing the accreditation standards as directed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Various aspects of the academic and administrative environment were reviewed : evaluating the readiness of infrastructure, laboratories, and lecture halls.
The academic programs and their alignment with national and international standards were elaborated , such reflects the college commitment to providing high-quality education that keep abreast of approved criteria. The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining ethical and professional standards in academic work, stressing the need to foster these values between both students and the teaching staff. In conclusion, the vice-dean highlighted the significance of collective efforts and commitment from all members to achieve institutional accreditation goals and ensure the provision of exceptional academic services.
