The Prosthodontics Department at the University of Alkafeel in the College of Dentistry held a meeting on Sunday, September 8, 2024, to address several academic and organizational matters. The meeting was attended by the faculty members of the department .

   The session opened with thanks from the university presidency and the college deanship for the efforts of the faculty  during the 2023-2024 academic year. Faculty members were encouraged to maintain high levels of attendance and adhere to the directives of the university and the deanships` and some administrative affairs : the leave request process.

    The department head stressed the importance of professors adhering to the university uniform and upholding ethical standards aligned with the values Holy Al-Abass . Here the faculty was urged to actively participate in various university systems : Forthcoming 6th International Scientific Conference.

    The meeting also highlighted the need for regular reports on student performance and attendance to be submitted to the department head. Discussions on final-year projects took place, emphasizing the need for timely completion during the second semester.

    Several key recommendations were set : increasing the numbers of faculty to be in parallel with the growing student population and giving time to the professors for conducting research projects . The importance of strict monitoring of student attendance in lectures and clinics and adhering to practical requirements schedules was also tackled.

   There are other suggestions : increasing the number of teaching assistants in the prosthodontics clinic, closely monitoring students with low grades, and informing their parents about their academic progress. At the end , the department certified the importance of inviting external professors to teach modern skills that would enhance the educational process .
