The College of Medicine at University of Alkafeel organized, on Tuesday 27/8/2024, a specialized workshop on "Medical Education and Mechanisms for Preparing and Delivering Lectures", in the presence of Prof.Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, chancellor of the University, Prof.Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali,vice-chancellor for scientific affairs , deans of colleges, vice-deans and faculty members.

    The workshop was presented by Prof.Dr. Hilal Al-Saffar, advisor to the of the universitychancellor for medical education, dealt with the preparations for the curriculum for the academic year 2024-2025, and aimed to enhance teamwork to implement the principles of the curriculum of the College of Medicine at the university of Alkafeel in line with international accreditation requirements and the latest concepts of medical education.

    During the workshop, the focus was on writing educational objectives for each class, whether it was a theoretical lecture, laboratory or clinical session ,evaluation methods and the importance of the evaluation exam for students. The workshop also highlighted the use of modern teaching methods to make lectures interactive through advanced educational programs. Thus, certain fruitful discussions were stirred between the lecturer and the attendees, as the ideas and suggestions were exchanged on ways to improve the educational process. It was emphasized that the continuous logistical support from the university presidency played a major role in the success of these efforts, and will contribute to achieving the goal of making the College of Medicine at the university of Alkafeel a global institution.
