In collaboration with the Pharmacists Syndicate of Najaf Al-Ashraf, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Alkafeel, organized a scientific workshop : “ Navigating the Guidelines of Management of Hyperlipidemia" on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in the Abu Al-Aswad Al-Du'ali hall at the College of Pharmacy.

   The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, rector of the University of Alkafeel, Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, the vice-rector for scientific affairs , Pharmacist Dr. Ahmed Abu Soudah, head of the Pharmacists Syndicate of Najaf Al-Ashraf, Dr. Haider Khudair, Director of the Training and Development Center in the Najaf Health Directorate, and the vice-dean for administrative affairs  in the College of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Mayali, in addition to several members of the scientific committee of the Najaf Pharmacists Syndicate.

   The workshop was inaugurated with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Dakhil Al-Rukabi on the latest guidelines in the treatment of hyperlipidemia. The workshop comes to enhance the knowledge of the pharmacists and improve the quality of healthcare provided to patients.

    At the conclusion of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan was honored with a shield presented by the Pharmacists Syndicate of Najaf in appreciation of his scientific collaboration with the syndicate. This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Pharmacists Syndicate of Najaf Al-Ashraf, accredited by the Najaf Health Directorate as part of its continuing education programs.
