On Sunday, May 5, 2024, the University of Alkafeel received a delegation from Al-Nahrain University to discuss opportunities for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The esteemed rector of the University of Alkafeel, Asst. Prof. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan and the vice-rector for scientific affairs , Asst.Prof.Dr.Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali met the delegation that consists of Asst. Prof. Mohammed Mahmoud Farhan from the Center for Biological Technologies Research and Dr. Hazem Ahmed. During the meeting, opportunities for academic and research cooperation in various fields were discussed. Here Prof.Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan, the rector of the University of Alkafeel, highlighted the role of Holy Al-Abbas Shrine in supporting higher education and development, emphasizing the importance of "Al-Bahir" and "Ma`aen " journals, both issued by the University of Alkafeel, to disseminate scientific research.

    At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof.Dr.Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahaan expressed his welcome to the visiting delegation and affirmed the University of Alkafeelreadiness for mutual collaboration with Al-Nahrain University to enhance academic and scientific ties. Such a meeting is a part of efforts to strengthen collaboration among Iraqi universities, which will contribute to knowledge exchange and enhance the quality of higher education in the country.
