On Saturday, November 18, 2023, University of Alkafeel signed a scientific memorandum of understanding with the Technological University at the university council's presidency, represented by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, and the vice-rector for scientific affairs , Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali. The signing was with the President of the Technological University, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghabban, and his accompanying delegation. The memorandum aims to achieve scientific collaboration between the two universities in academic, research, and training fields to develop and support common understanding frameworks in educational processes. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghabban, President of the Technological University, said, "We hope to activate the agreement's role as soon as possible, serving the different aspects for students and researchers, and future steps will be bigger." He added, "Such agreements have their scientific weight in the near future because they keep pace with all scientific and educational developments, explaining that we are determined to support such initiatives contributing to pushing the scientific progress forward." On the sidelines of the agreement signing, the delegation took a tour of the university campus to observe its major landmarks and the latest advancements this academic institution has achieved in modern technologies in the educational process, electronic smart halls, and advanced educational laboratories. At the end of the visit, the President of the Technological University, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ghabban, presented the university council shield to Prof. Dr. Nawras Mohammed Shaheed Al-Dahan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Ayed Al-Mayali, and to the director of Al-Kafeel Information Technology Center affiliated with University of Alkafeel, Mr. Samer Al-Safi, expressing his gratitude for the visit and the opening of joint scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides.
